can be a decent person. You pay taxes and kiss your children and sleep with a clear conscience. But without Christ are holy. So how can you go to heaven? Only
think. Accept the work already done, the work of Jesus on the cross.
accept the goodness of Jesus Christ. Abandon your own works and accept theirs. Leave your own decency and accept theirs. Introduce yourself before God on their behalf, not yours.
So Easy? It was not easy. The cross was heavy, the blood was real and the price was exorbitant. But as you and I would have taken into bankruptcy, he paid for us. Call it simple. Call it a gift. But do not call it easy.
Call it what it is. Call it grace.
